Night Parrot Press is an independent publisher based in Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia. Publishing works of non-traditional fiction and non-fiction, we offer a home to experimental forms and genres outside the mainstream.
Inspired by our namesake, the elusive Australian night parrot, we seek to uncover writing that exists on the periphery, in obscurity, and give it a platform for recognition with a broader audience.
Night Parrot Press acknowledges the Wadjuk Noongar people as the spiritual and cultural custodians of Boorloo and the boodja on which we publish. We honour and respect First Nations stories and express our gratitude for this heritage of powerful storytelling.
